The Sony a7CR is a compact and manageable mirrorless camera packed with processing and resolving power made for professional daily use. Thanks to the 61MP full-frame sensor and BIONZ XR processor from the a7R V, the unit offers a potent combination of incredible resolution with high clarity, low noise, and a wide 15-stop dynamic range. With the AI-powered technologies, the a7CR detects skin regions and delivers more precisely balance exposures. Even when the subject is not directly facing the camera or when it is backlit or in direct sunshine, this AE approach is around 20% more dependable. Real-time Eye AF is fully supported during video recording, for subject detection and tracking of human, animal, and bird eyes while shooting. The camera enables up to 8 frames per second shooting with the mechanical shutter and 7 frames per second shooting with the electronic shutter at full resolution and full-time AF/AE. More than 1000 frames can be recorded in a single burst when shooting exclusively in JPEG. The workhorse is build with a sturdy magnesium alloy body and features dust and moisture seals to safeguard against adverse circumstances.
