The Sony a7R VI is built to deliver an impressive combination of high speed and improved dynamic range compared to previous Alpha cameras. It pairs the highest‑resolution sensor in an a7 body with fast 30 fps shooting, strong 8K video performance, smarter AI‑assisted autofocus, and improved handling and battery life. The camera uses a partially stacked–style approach that blends low‑ and high‑gain readouts to benefit from both higher capacity and lower noise. It also does a great job preserving highlights and keeps deep‑shadow noise very consistent even with an ISO 100 exposure is pushed in post to match an ISO 6400 result. A true hybrid for one‑camera coverage across genres, from portraits and landscapes to events, wildlife, and sports.
